Magnus Carlsson is releasing a special single at EuroPride
Magnus Carlson is making a special version of "I was born this way", especially for EuroPride and is making the single digitally downloadable at the same time. All royalty goes to RFSL's (The Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender rights) school information activities. The song is performed when Magnus Carlsson is making a guest appearance with DiscoBoys at the Park Scene during the end of the Friday evening at Pride Park.
- I wanted to make a disco song that does not feel worn out and surfed the net. Then, I stumbled across "I Was Born This Way" and thought it was great, with a suitable lyrics about being proud over who you are and the fact that it is completely okey to be gay, Magnus Carlsson says.
All royalty for "I Was Born This Way" that is earned during 2008 Magnus Carlsson donates to RFSL's school information activities.
I really hope that everyone that can and has the opportunity to join and contribute to this charity project and download this great disco song. I believe that it is at today's schools that we create tomorrow's open-minded society, says Magnus Carlsson.
