152 sections in Stockholm’s largest parade ever
7/31/2008

The order of this year’s Pride Parade is now set, and on Saturday 80 000 parade participants are expected to walk through Stockholm, from Humlegården to Pride Park in Södermalm.
Three fire engines, a swimming pool and horses are some of the participants. On the roof of the office of Berg’s architects, Robert Fux and Tasso Stafilidis with their voices will guide the audience through the parade.
- This is the largest parade I’ve ever been responsible for, says Paul Turner, Parade manager.
Paul has been Parade manager since 1998 and has organized parades in Great Britain, for example the parades in London and Bristol.
The Pride Parade takes off at 1pm and will start with a great firework that will draw attention to the start of the parade over the entire city. Last year, 50 000 people participated with half a million in the audience. More information about the parade can be found at www.stockholmpride.org.
