Proud sing-along opens Stockholm EuroPride 2008

Stockholm EuroPride 2008 is opened by a grand sing-along gala at Skansen. Babsan and Christer Björkman will lead the night with assistance from Marit Bergman, Veronica Maggio, Sarah Dawn Finer, Anne-Lie Rydé, Jan Johansen, Therese Grankvist, Östen med resten, among others, to kick-start this year's festival with the proudest sing-along in the history of Skansen.

This year's three opening speakers, the Indian prince Manvendra Singh Gohil, Cecilia Malmtröm, the Swedish EU minister, and Tiina Rosenberg, professor in gender science, will speak from different angles. All of them will have this year's theme, "Swedish Sin, Breaking Borders", as their starting point.

The gala will start at 7.30pm and the warm-up singing will start already at 7pm.
