Way to expensive?

Hey HÅKAN STEENBERG, treasurer at Stockholm Pride:

What do you say to people that think that Stockholm Pride is way too expensive?

- Of course it is a lot of money for many. But you also get value for your money. I do not believe that you can find any other festival in Europe where this kind of diverse and packed content is available at that price.

- We have costs adding up to 12 milion SEK, and the profit is 0 SEK.
Out of our revenue, roughly 8 million SEK comes from our ticket sales, 3 milion SEK comes from our sponsors and then we get some contributions to make everything add up. The visitors thus largely both fund and create Pride. But the more money that we can receive through sponsoring, and the more contributions that we can get - the less we need to get from our visitors, enabling us to make the tickets even cheaper.
