Meet Thomas Beatie

Thomas Beatie is known as the first legal male to be pregnant and give birth – three times. This year he was one of the opening speakers at Stockholm Pride. A man with the heart in the right place!

Thomas has appeared on tv shows and given numerous interviews, but at Stockholm Pride 2011 he makes his debut a public speaker. Not only is Thomas Beatie one of three opening speakers at the festival, he will also for the very first time share his story with a live audience.

– When I was asked to do it I was flattered and thought: hell yeah! When I heard about the situation in Sweden I felt that I definitely had to come here. When the story came out about me it was a sensational story, but we want to crash down the barriers. We teach our kids love, fairness and respect to other people, and hope other parents teach that to their children.
