A Camp started out as a collaboration between singer Nina Persson from The Cardigans and Niclas Frisk from Atomic Swing. Nina's husband Nathan Larsson is also a member of the group.
On Wednesday they gave an acclaimed concert in Pride Park.
A Camp's first album from 2001 was called "A Camp" and contains the hitsingle "I can buy you". Earlier this year the band released their second album, "Colonia", followed by an EP containing covers by Grace Jones among others, out now.
Pride Park's enthusiastic audience were treated to an impressive concert. The band played songs from the latest album "Colonia", aswell as hits from their first album.
Afterwards, the group had a chat with Stockholm Pride's volunteers.
– Love stories don't necessarily have to be about the sexes, Nathan says. When we ask him what musicians could do in order to support the LGBT community he answers that acceptance will increase when there are more artists focusing on these issues and lists Brokeback Mountain as an example.
They also tell us that only moment earlier a girl approached them, telling that she had proposed to her girlfriend during the concert.
