Feminists in Pride Park

Representatives from the feministist political party Feministiskt Initativ can be found in a cerise tent in Pride Park. They are here to show their support in LGBT issues and speak with Pride visitors from all over the country.
What do you feel is the most important thing about Pride?
- That it is a demonstration of our strength, that there are a lot of us and that we want to be seen. It's great to see that there is such a huge mix of people here. Everyone from eighty year old trannies to someone from Hedemora where there might not exist much of a LGBT community.
Why did you decide to come to Pride Park?
We've been here every year since the start of Feministiskt Initiativ. We're extremely eager to show our support for LGBT people and the community. From here we can reach out to people all around the country.
This years Pride theme is hetero this year, how hetero is Feministiskt Initiativ on a scale between one and ten?
- Oh my, that depends on what you mean by that. I think we might be a six considering heterosexuality. But three when it comes to heteronormativity.
