Traveling within Pride

There are as many ways to get between Pride Garden, House and Park as there are visitors to Stockholm Pride. Crawling is one of the least comfortable ways. SL and Taxi Stockhom offer considerably better ones.

We grabbed a hold of Ali Övgün, who is a driver for Taxi Stockholm since many years, and asked him about his views on the typical HBT passenger.

– Well, there is not really any difference, they are like most passengers. But maybe overall that they are nicer. They are often more open than straight customers and offer more of themselves.

– It's a nice thing that Stockholm Pride is going on. You get to see plenty of people with dyed hair, and they dress up. That's nice.

Finally we ask if it's easy to pick up a taxi driver.

– No, I don't think that way. When I'm in the job, I work. My task is to drive what other people pick up, Ali sums up with a laugh.
