The Swedish democrats are a threat, a populistic party with the roots in the nazi movements. Sweden will take part of a couple of sad countries if they come in to the government. The folkpartist Fredrik Malm calls the warningbell on Pride House.

Nazistroots unusual

In distinction with the foreign and immigratehostile parties that are in the parlament ant the government in other countries, the Swedish democrats are not a breaking out group from a normal political party, instead they have their roots in organisations as Keep Sweden Swedish. Fredrik Malm stresses on the international perspective -The dissatisfaction exists even in the Swedish democrats, it showed when a wing breaked out and started the Nationaldemocrats that are more extreme, says Fredrik to the focused public.  

Nothing new in the SD

He browses through the printed overhead papers and reads a extract from the Swedish democrats partysecreatrys blogg, Björn Söder: -Muslims come here and use their veil like a political weapon to take over our country, quotes Fredrik Malm. Many people in the local are amazed, this really exists on the Swedish democrats website? Fredrik explains: -They can not go far away from their grassroots. Even if they excluded the worst people is the partysecretary anyway the person that has spoken on a Hitler-meeting and nothing shows on that it is going to tone down their opinions if they will enter the government. Fredrik is careful with pointing out that nothing is sure when it comes to the elections in 2010. SD in the government?

Frerdrik comes back to the mentality behind the Swedish democrats, what is that drives them and what their picture of the world needs. -To keep up their time of excluding and discriminating politics a etnical conflictline is needed. It must build on the picture of their camp between a Swedish and an Unswedish, east and west, Islamic and traditional “Swedish” values, Fredrik stresses. He pushes on the international perspective, where you can see that the foreign oppressive parties can have very different policies in some questions, but that the conflictcultivation is the common denominator.  

Open debate

When Fredrik leaves the word free to the public there are many hands in the air. Hot do you face the Swedish democrats, what should you avoid and what should you think on? -It is dangerous to close out this types of organisations in the debate, then they cultivate theyr martyr and role of dissatisfaction. You have to take this people in serious and not only push them away as razists. There are not only people that only ”tumble there” on voting on SD, as you can do with the conservatives and the socialdemocrates. If you vote on SD you know what it´s all about, Fredrik ends.
