Pride House has opened!

This year's Pride House is located in the heart of Stockholm - in the City Theatre and Kulturen's premises. On Monday 28th of July at 11.45 Pride House was inaugurated by the author Birgitta Stenberg. The programme is between 12.00 and 18.00 everyday, into Friday 1st.
Pride House's starting point is Klarafoajén. Every day people that are interested in the events, gather at 11.30 to go through the programme and to meet new Pride friends. Mingle with Posithiva group, the Proud Parents to LGBTQ children, Gay sisters, Sensus study association and RFSL Stockholm (The Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights). Buy a book or a sex toy at Hallongrottan books and curious items' special shop.
Art at Pride House
Take the opportunity to go and see our art exhibitions before the programme starts. Meet 100 proud and strong people in Jan Dahlqvist's photo project Proud People. Christoffer Fjellner, member of the European Parliament, has an exhibition of pictures from EU's 27 member countries' Pride events. Lisen Haglund, Helene Gedda and Olafùr Danielsson show the short film project Glada dagar (Happy Days) and Ylva-Maria Thompson is having a display of 100 casted cunts in her exhibition Grönslösa kroppar (Bodies without boundaries). Cecilia Bivald is exhibiting paintings in mixed technique and collages with inspiration from the everyday sins in the exhibition Stand up Straight, Amnesty's LGBT group are having a poster exhibition about LGBT refugees in Europe. Drawings by Malin Mattsson and Hanna Gustavsson are sharing the space with everyday art in the form of kitchy and colourful photos by Emily Brandon-Cox.
At the roof of Kulturen
Live music will be playing everyday at the roof of Kulturen between 13,00 and 18.00. Throw dildos in this year's dildo kubb tournament at Pride Park. Wednesday at 15.00 Stockholm Femme Mafia arranges the first femme fight ever!
Mixed programme at Pride House
International questions, such as for example when Chia-Ling Yang talks about the LGBT movement in Taiwan is mixed with litterature seminars, stage performances, discussions regarding gender identities accross borders, and sin and filth. The Pride House programme is packed with events that will appeal to everybody.
