Is the Bible Queer?

"The Bible is more Queer than it´s considered"
How can you use the Bible as a inspiration for queers? That was one of the questions that the priests Lisa Mobrand and Niklas Olaison talked about in Pride House on Wednesday.
-For some people it is a obvious thing that God is a man, but I say 'him' because I´m used to it, says Lisa. But God is a hermaphrodite. He has both womb and penis. She says that you only talk about God as the creator but not so often as a mother that cares for its children. Lisa takes the conclusion that Gods compassion is in the womb and that it's taking care of people.
When Lisa asked the public what fruit Eve ate, most people said "an apple", but that has come up later. Because what Eve really ate was the Fruit of Knowledge.
-People are so sure on what it stands in the Bible, but they never take the time to read it.
Niklas told the public that there are a total of 5 places that can be interpreted as comdemning homosexuality. Niklas and Lisa reviewed these five short pieces and made the conclusion that you talk about everything that condemns, but it never stands that it´s love between same sex couples.
-It's like asking what the Bible thinks of nuclear power, it didn´t exist then, said Niklas. Homosexuality is really no big question in the Bible.
Under that time they read up a row Bible-references that the public could read at home. They took up very intresting and important points that can be something to think about for most people.
-Many of the words that stand in the Bible cannot be translated and some of the wordpuns and expressions can definitely not be translated right, Lisa says, therefore you cannot know what the Bible really says about homosexuality. The Bible is more queer than it´s considered.
