Pride Queer filmfestival on house

On the first Pride-Friday not only the Europride on Skansen was inaugurated, but also the first activities on the House of Culture got started!

Friday was the first day for the Pride Queer filmfestival that kicked started in happiness. Two floors and a lot of Queer happenings.

Between 12 and 15 during the whole weekend queerfilms were showed for free on the House of Culture. First out on the program was the movie Anders Als die Andern and the shortmovie “I am Gay”. Of course there where showing movies during the entire days, but the other people must buy tickets to be able to see.

The salons were cosy, full of laughing and the tune was good. Even the volunteers that were outside and welcomed the gests thought that.

The borders are breaking all the time and on Saturday we went a step further with among others cartoons with trans theme.

Apart from that movies were showed they even played music outside the salons. On Friday Marit Bergman was visting the DJ-table and played nice records.

On Friday evening the big inauguration took place were Farnaz Arbabi, that is directing the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch on the Citytheatre, hold a inauguration speech about among others the movie that is based on the musical. At 17.00 the cinema doors were opened and the multitude in the public was massive.
