A Pride Park is born

To build Pride Park is a grand project. This is what happens when the sweat covers the body in a shiny glow at the start of the building of the park.

During Friday the park is starting to get its foundation. It is a joyful, and good looking bunch one might add, of coworkers who are brought together to help create the paradise for the participants of Europride just in the right time for the park to open.

There are a few volunteers already working away in the morning, among others, Jimmy Svensson, Isabel Turner and Jonathan. These three have been working to make this Pride the best one ever and they are very pepped up.

Jimmy and Jonathan came to the place at one.half past two in the morning - in a caravan. There they slept until it was time to get started on the project.

- Everything is coming together slowly, so there is no reason to have volunteers running around unnecessarily says project manager Janne Christoferson.

The volunteers will come around 1:00 pm. Janne thinks that everything is going according to schedule and that the park will be done before the deadline on Wednesday. Most people working on making the park reality think so, but above all, there is a feeling of positiveness in the air. The sweat is running down everyones' foreheads and one can feel the smell of strong will. Everyone is helping and everyone is having a grand time.
