A queue is stretching from the ticket office outside the entrance to Pride Park to as far as the eye can see. It's time for schlager, and the tickets you can book in advance are since long gone.
Stockholm Pride are allowed to let thousands more into the park than previous years. In spite of this, there's a real treasure hunt after tickets to this special evening. The Schlager evening always has the largest amount of visitors, and known artists from Eurovision Song Contests and the Swedish schlager scene share the stage.
In the queue, we can find Jonas and Jonas. They've only got 30 meters left to the ticket window, so they've got the time to answer a few questions.
It's 12 o'clock and the ticket window just opened. Have you been standing here for long, and is it worth it?
-No, we've only been standing here since 11.15, and it's certainly worth it, says Jonas.
Why are you standing here, instead of buying your tickets in advance?
-We live in Tokyo, and came here an thought there'd still be tickets left. But they were all gone!
Did you come to Sweden just for the Schlager evening here?
-Yes and no. We're here for Pride! It's bigger with EuroPride. We were going to London, but ended up here.
Is the schlager evening the best thing with Pride?
Yes, that and the Operakällaren.
Have you got any special artists that you'd like to be here?
-Jonas has!
-Yes, Kylie Minogue.
-But she dosen´t belong there.
-No, but all schlager then!
The queue moves forward. Jonas and Jonas get to the ticket window to first get poorer but some ours later much richer!
