Non-Violence policy
Stockholm Pride's non-violence policy was adopted May 25th, 2008.
Stockholm Pride Association renounces violence and misanthropy. This policy aims to clarify how Stockholm Pride renounces the use of violence and threats of violence and instead promotes its opposite - respect for human equality, democracy and peace.
Stockholm Pride is based on a non-violent basis, which should permeate all activities and collaborations.
In order to avoid the occurence of violence at Stockholm Pride, the organisation have well developed safety procedures integrated in all parts of the festival.
Individuals, groups or associations that use physical force or express threats of violence are not welcome at the festival.
The ambition to reduce the risk of violence is something Stockholm Pride carries along to meetings with other Pride organisers, nationally and internationally.
