The theme of the 2010 Stockholm Pride is "MAKT" (Power). As last year's theme [Hetero] it's inviting into debate and questioning.Anyone who arranges and participates in the festival should make their own interpretations and raise their own perspective of power, "says Claes Nyberg, president of Stockholm Pride 2009.The aim is to highlight the positive as well as negative forms of power structures and show how to respond to various forms of exercise of power. The aim is to highlight discriminatory structures in society and point out that all people have the power to make a difference.Power can mean so many different things to different people, individuals and groups. Therefore we do not assess what kind of power you refer to when you hear this year's theme, "concludes Claes Nyberg.Stockholm Pride 2010 is held from July 26 to August 1 and this year Pride Park has moved to, National Maritime Museum and the National Museiparken on Djurgården.
