Young Pride

Young Pride is the place for the younger participants of the festival. If you are HBT and under the age of 25 you will have the opportunity to get to know like minded through exciting activities, workshops and performances. A useful piece of information is that Young Pride is free of charge!

Young Pride has been an important part of Stockholm Pride since 2004. This year it will include two sites. During day-time there will be a tent in Pride Garden (Kungsträdgården) where there will be a lot of things going on. At 5 PM we pack up and go on to Lava, in Kulturhuset a few blocks away, and contunie the games there.

Some things you can do at Young Pride:

• Open stage – take part doing something you enjoy, like singing, dancing, juggling... whatever you feel like! For 15 minutes you have the stage.
• Parade workshop – you can build, sow, glue or knit your own parade sign or outfit at Lava.
• Drag workshop – become your new alter ego, or just try it out a little. We promise you a memorable trip in the whirlpool of gender expression.
